We have an existing on premise Exchange 2010 install and office 365 environment. Our AD is synched and our Domain is setup for Lync and Exchange online.
Currently, we have several autodiscover records, one on internal DNS and two A records that point to Natted ip addresses of load balanced CAS Hub Servers,
when I added the DNS records to our Network Solutions DNS, it would not allow me to add the autodiscover Cname record. the error was that there was already an entry for autodiscover.
My question is this: Do l need the public DNS entries for autodiscover pointing to the on premise Exchange 2010 install or can I remove them and add the Cname for Exchange online?
Thanks,
