We have Office 365 setup and configured with federation and have tested the authentication is working properly. Our MX record is pointing to Office 365 and mail is being properly forwarded to the on-prem servers if the mailbox doesn't exist on Office 365.
We are now trying to complete a staged migration of the users from the Exchange 2003 server to Office 365. I started with one user "migration2" and have started a migration test by going to: Manage My Organization --> Users & Groups --> E-Mail Migration. I then uploaded a CSV file with the user "migration2" and started the sync.
We are getting the following error: "need to have an owner before trying to create the proxy."
I have searched online but it seems that nobody is having this issue. Please let me know if you can be of any assistance.
