One additional piece of info. I have installed WinRM 3.0 on the exchange server so i can manage it in Win8 Server manager. Could this be causing the problem?
Updating hybrid configuration
I've been receiving the following error running the Hybrid Configuration wizard, since August:

I have a case open with both Mircosoft Exchange Team, through our Microsoft Partnership, and Office 365 Support and have yet to find a solution.
We were previously running on Small Business Server 2003 and upgrade our environment to Windows Server 2008 with Exchange 2010. We now would like to take advantage of Office 365 with our Microsoft Partnership and are unable to complete the migration. We've discussed the deployment with Office 365 and they suggested a Hybrid migration but am unable to complete the Hybrid Configuration.
Any information or assistance on this issue is greatly appreciated.
Thank You

migrate 3 mailboxes from 2003 to exchange online
I am attempting to migrate 3 mailboxes to exchange online 1 at a time. New mail is going to exchange online fine but when I run Exchange Hosted Services Directory Synchronization to migrate the mailboxes on my Exchange server I get an error after I put my username and password in;
Web Service Operation Failed. The security token could not be authenticated or authorized. --> authentication failed.
I just want to migrate my 3 mailboxes. Should be really simple I hope.
Am I even running the correct program to start the migration?
Migration from Hosted Exchange at GoDaddy
I'm currently running Sharepoint with Office 365 and hosted Exchange/website/DNS with GoDaddy. We're leaving DNS and website with GoDaddy but want to migrate the hosted Exchange environment to Office 365. All of my research about the migration tool discusses on-premise Exchange to cloud migration. Would this also apply with hosted cloud to cloud migration?
Of course, the backup option is to export/import pst's. But that's time consuming and cumbersome.
What's the best course of action for hosted/hosted migration?
Thanks.

Categories not uploading with Contacts to Office 365 when imported from Outlook 2010
I already have Office 365 running on our network, and have uploaded from Office Outlook Contacts all of our database contact records. All the records have come across and when I make changes in Outlook they synchronise fine to Office 365.
The Categories on each record have not synchronised to Office 365. I tried to upload the Contacts again as a separate database to Office 365 and it uploaded fine. However again the categories detail did not upload. Why is this? I want the Category to show on each record in Office 365 and it is not showing.
import .pst with repliabiity intact
Unable to change cname and MX 1and1 hosting
Hello ,
We have a domain at 1and1 and would like to use exchange online with office 365 .
We were able to successfully verify the domain.
After verification when we change the cname and mx record at 1and1 dns only cname is propagating where as mx record is not propagating to internet.
1and1 support says we cannot change both cname and mx, only can do one . it does not make sense to me.
Microsoft support is also not so far able to help me.
I need guidance from community who has 1and1 shared hosting with limited dns and has successfully configured office 365.
Thanks in advance.

Unthrottle outlook 2010 bandwidth
Hi,
I am currently migrating batches of users from around the country that belong to the same organisation but has office around the place. We have been uploading their mail to the 365 servers from the main office and then getting the OST's from there and transferring them to the remote offices machines so that when they connect there is only a small amount of new emails to download from the server. In an upcoming instance I am unable to get the OST's to do this and so will need to just have outlook download the mail from the server however their mailboxes are rather large and will take a while normally.
My question is, is there a way to temporarily un-throttle the speed at which outlook downloads the mail from the server? from a rough quick look it seems like outlook tops out for me at about 133 kB/s.
Thanks
Email migration not performing 24 hour syncing
Hi
I have migrated 8 mailboxes and everything was syncing wonderfully until a few days ago. On one account (the inital mailbox migration) the last email in the outlook 365 inbox was received Thursday 1st November (this account had been syncing for nearly 2 weeks prior). It is now Monday the 5th November and there have been no emails synced to the 365 inbox for 4 days (despite many emails actually being received on the current local outlook email account). When I go to the Email Migration Tab and look at the Migrating Data statistics it shows the following which is clearly incorrect as there have been many emails received on this particular account in those 4 days (see below). They just haven't transferred across.
On Friday, Nov 2, I migrated 7 other mailboxes and they all have the initial migration but no further syncing of actual emails contrary to what the report says. The report states the last synced time was only 9 hours ago however nothing has updated in the 365 outlook inbox beyond initial migration (once again all local desktop Outlook accounts have had many emails received in the past 3 days).
I cannot finalise the migration until I know all email accounts will be synced properly.
Please advise.
Regards

Delivery Options removed when on-boarding mailbox
We have a Hybrid Configuration with Exchange 2010 SP2, with ADFS and DirSync configured.
I migrated a shared mailbox who had the forwarding option configured on the mailbox. The shared mailbox was set to forward email to a distribution group, under Delivery Options on the object.
The forwarding address was gone, when the mailbox was migrated successfully to Office365. The migration of the mailbox did not migrated this option on the mailbox.
Office365 Domain move to other Office365
Whe have 2 Office365 domains and we want to move our own domainname (with email) to the other Office365.
We created in the "NEW" Office365 all users with the domain.onmicrosoft.com account and all mail en settings are moved.
We already placed a TXT file in our DNS, so that we can verify the domein on the NEW Office365. But I supose the domain ned to be deleted on the OLD Office365 AND de emailaddresses need to renamed (or deleted) to a domain.onmicrosoft.com before I can verify the domain in the NEW Office365? Im I right?
Because the OLD DNS settings are already pointing to Office365, and when the NEW Office365 is verified succesfukky it is alrady point to Office365 I supose? Or do I overloked something?
I also wondering how mutch time it takes for this administrative move? I have a feelling it's faster then a normal DNS correction because it's only delete a domain antry on the OLD OFFICE365 and add or Verify the domein on the NEW OFFICE365.
Just one other question, does Outlook need te setup with a new profile, or will it still works (maybe it will pint to another microsoft mail server and need to setup a new profile?

RPC over HTTP
Hi
I'm currently trying to migrate my local mailboxes to Office 365. We're using SBS 2003 (we're looking to upgrade). In doing so, Office 365 uses RPC over HTTP. For that to happen one needs;
A CA-signed SSL-certificate
RPC proxy server host name
Internal name of Exchange-server
Our Exchange-server is not part of a external domain (ie. our ISP handles the external DNS). When we connect to the server outside of the domain (for instance OWA), we type the external IP-addresse + /exchange (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/exchange).
That has seemed to be a bigger problem than I first realized. My question(s) is/are;
What does I type as my FQDN of the server when I order a certificate?
How do I find my host name for the RPC since I cannot be an IP (according to testexchangeconnectivity.com)
I'm really tired of this, I've spent alot of hours on it now. I really hope you can help.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Mikkel Laursen
Copying POP3 Outlook data file in to the same folder in the exchange account
Dear All,
I am migrating 70 pop3 email staff (Google Apps) to office 365 then When I imported the outlook pst data files for old pop3 email into exchange accounts , exchange server started syncing the imported pst emails into the exchange server mailbox, after that I went to File->Open->Open Outlook Data File to open the old email account pst data file, after I opened, outlook created separate personal email folders for the the old accounts instead of putting the old pst files into the same folder in the exchange account so I was told that it's impossible to import the old pst files into the same folder in the new exchange account .
Moving pop3 email account pst file to another email pst file is simple and the pst files are imported into the same folder of the new email account but I think the exchange server is different because the exchange has syncing option between the outlook client and the server mailbox but how ever, kindly help me the best way to migrate and to move pop3 email pst files to new exchange account so that the users can search their old pst emails easily in one personal folder?
You can see two separate personal email folder in this account, one was created during the exchange account setup and the second one was created after I opened new outlook data-file
Staged + IMAP Migration
Hi!
We are performing a migration slightly different than those reported here in the community, with the following scenario:
- Staged Migration, leaving the Exchange 2007 on-premise;
- Part of the mailboxes are on Google.
Our scenario is as follows:
- ADFS and ADFS Proxy, providing single sign-on;
- Sync Tool ensuring the synchronization between our AD and Office365.
The problem we are experiencing is that we can't migrate the accounts that are on Google (using IMAP) the following error appears:
1, user@domain.com, "We did not find a mailbox for cloud-based" "user@domain.com". "Create a mailbox for" "user@domain.com" "cloud based organization and try again. "
What can I do to create these mailboxes and perform tha data migration that are there?
thank you!
Ex2003 staged migration with SSO and DirSync enabled, email aliases issue
Hi All,
I have a problem with a migration we are performing currently, as the post title suggests, this is a staged migration from an on premise Exchange 2003 deployment.
We have already deployed ADFS SSO and DirSync and all was well so far....
Although as soon as we started migrating users we ran into an issue regarding the fact that a majority of users have multiple email aliases which need to be added to their Office 365 mailbox.
Now, we cant obviously add these directly on 365 due to the dirsync, we found a mention that we can use the Proxy Address attribute to populate alias addresses....But not until Exchange 2003 has been removed! When we tried to use the proxyaddress attribute, mail delivery to the office 365 mailbox failed from external users (with an 5.1.7 NDR stating that Your message couldn't be delivered because you weren't recognized as a valid sender) note that the MX record currently still points at Exchange 2003, which is configured to forward mail out to 365 for unresolved addresses
Remove the proxy addresses and mail flows again out to the migrated 365 mailboxes!
So the question is, how do I add these aliases to the 365 mailboxes when we are in the middle of the staged migration???
Thanks in advance!

No valid certificates available - Hybrid Configuration
Hi there,
I'm having a weird issue with the deployment of a hybrid configuration. I've done all the prerequisites, but when I get to the mail flow security section on HCW I don't see any certificates available in the dropdown.
My certificate is from Entrust (not wildcard) and includes the relevant SAN names.
The certificate has been installed on my hybrid servers and activated for IIS,SMTP.
I'm not sure what the problem is, what does the Hybrid wizard look for during this step - it most probably runs a Get-ExchangeCertificate. I checked the certificate and Exchange is happy with the cert.
Please assist.
Thanks
Cutover migration, Status: Corrupted
Hello
So I'm trying out Office 365. It was going fine untill I tried migrating mailboxes. I started a "New E-Mail Migration" and went through the steps. When I got to step 3 it says that the migration batch was successfully, but it cointained no mailboxes to migrate.
I run Exchange Server 2010 and have users with mailbox and emails in them, how come the migration batch then says it contains none? When I go to the E-mail migration page the batch is there, but the status says "Corrupted" an still says it contains no mailboxes.
The on premise user I use to migrate has full access to the mailboxes and the Mailbox database.
Anyone have any ideas?

Anders
Exchange Cutover and UPN
Hi there,
I am interested in using a Exchange Cutover to migrate data from a 3rd Party hosted Exchange solution to Exchange Online. We are able to view the mailboxes in Exchange Online but we can't seem to provision them. However I understand that Exchange Cutover assumes that the Active Directory UPN of the source user must be the same as the e-mail address of the tenant. Can someone confirm if that is correct?
Many thanks in advance,
John
